- After we enjoy breakfast, we will start our tour by visiting the Vatican Museums, the 6th most visited art museum in the world with a collection built up by Popes throughout the centuries. You will see famous paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Caravaggio.
- Next we will visit the famous Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope where you will see Michelangelo’s famous Sistine ceiling painting which depicts a scene from Genesis.
- We will now visit St. Peter’s Basilica, believed to be the burial site of St. Peter, one of Christ’s Apostles and considered the first Pope.
- We will walk to St. Peter’s Square, the picture perfect site well known for the Papal Masses.
- We will enjoy free time for lunch.
- In the afternoon we will walk to the Palatine Hill and tour one of the most iconic sites in Rome, the Colosseum. The massive amphitheater built in 70-72 A.D. by Emperor Vespasian and opened by his son Titus, is known for Its gladiator battles.
- Next, the Roman Forum; a massive plaza surrounded by ruins of ancient government buildings, it was for centuries the center of Roman public life.
- We will walk through Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, an ancient Roman shrine dedicated to the virgin goddess of the hearth.
- Visit the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, built around 141 A.D. by the Emperor Antoninus Pius.
- Next we will visit the Basilica Julia and Aemilia, which will give us a better perspective of the glorious past of the Roman Empire.
- We will end the tour in the center of the center and return to the hotel.

- After breakfast, we has a morning to enjoy shopping and visit sites not included in the itinerary.
- After lunch, we will start our tour in the afternoon by visiting the Basilicas of St. John in Lateran, the Cathedral and St. Mary Major.
- Next we will Catacombs of St. Callixtus, mostly known for containing once the tombs of 50 martyrs and 9 popes from the 2nd and 4th centuries.
