COMMUNICATION! Every step of the way we felt like we were kept up to date on all aspects of the trip. Lots of great information was provided upfront, long before we landed in Israel.
More importantly our guide, Lital- her EXTENSIVE knowledge and Complete Compassion for our group was the shining star of the trip.

This was a lifelong bucket list trip for me. So my expectations were high, AIT did not disappoint . At the airport waiting for me was a representative greeting me with a sign at 3:00 in the morning. He guided me to my first hotel and got me checked in. Accommodations were superior at all locations. The trip flowed better than expected with incredible guides all along the way. Their historical knowledge as well as their Biblical knowledge about every site we visited was amazing. Intal (a Jewish Christian) was the best. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and encouraging to some of us that were struggling at times. They protected us from unwanted vendors. Will there be a Bucket Trip 2 ? Who knows, but If so it will definitely be with AIT! We felt safe the entire time.

Well taken care of… From the moment we got out of the airplane, we felt very well taken care of. We had Isaac meet us at the airport, putting us taxi and off to the hotel. All the accommodations were wonderful! Out tour guide, Lital, outstanding! We always felt safe everywhere we went! This tour was amazing and very meaningful!

What an eye opening experience! This tour brought the scriptures to life in ways we never imagined. We had great learning opportunities as we visited sites in the Bible and learned from archeology. The tour guides in Israel and Nazareth were wonderful. Their stories of what it was like to live as a Christian there provided us with insights we would not gain anywhere else. We can’t say enough about both our tour guides who were immensely knowledgeable, easy to relate to and understand, flexible, and patient. What an amazing experience!

A journey for all to experience!  This is a pilgrimage through the Bible from Eygpt- Jordan- Israel. You really feel the experience of leaving the desert into The Promised Land, as stated in the Bible. It’s a journey everyone should experience in their life time. Each tour guide we had was amazing, honest and very informative. I highly recommend.

JUST GO! If you’re reading reviews trying to decide if you should go on an AIT tour, then GO!! This week, I returned home from AIT’s two week tour of Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and I cannot express strongly enough how fantastic the entire tour experience was. Every aspect of the tour was absolutely great including the tour sites, schedule, hotels, food, and best of all the excellent tour guides! The entire tour was an enriching and fulfilling experience mentally, physically, spiritually, personally, and emotionally and it earned my confident 10 out of 10 endorsement across the board. I will absolutely use and recommend AIT, and I would do this tour again without hesitation!

From start to finish AIT had everything covered. Picking me up at the airport upon my arrival; to taking me to the airport at the end of the tour, Their tour guide was outstanding (thank you Jair) and our driver (thank you Maher) was also wonderful. As a vegetarian, my friends were concerned I would not have my dietary needs met. Israel is a vegetarian paradise. So many wonderful veggies as well as excellent falafel. At all the sites, our guide read the corresponding passages from the Bible. This was one of safest places I have ever visited. Not once did I feel any concern for my safety.

Before Terri and I begin the next leg of our journey, we want to pause and give a heartfelt thank-you to American Israel Tours, and especially to three incredible people who made this trip everything we hoped it would be and more: Regan, Jair, and Maher.

From the very beginning, Regan helped us set up the entire tour, walking us through every question, every detail, and yes… every one of our little quirks along the way! Her patience, kindness, and attention to detail made the planning process effortless. She made sure every hotel, every stop, every guide, and every driver were perfectly in place. Regan, you made it easy for us to simply show up and be blessed, and we can’t thank you enough.

Once we arrived, Jair was the absolute perfect guide. I’m not sure how many guides American Israel Tours has, but if you come to Israel and don’t get Jair, you’re missing out. His knowledge of Scripture, history, and culture was remarkable. His attention to detail, his timing, and his insight brought the Bible to life in ways we’ll never forget. He was known by everyone, and liked by everyone, and he treated our group like family.

And of course, Maher, our driver, what can I say? Always waiting for us, always smiling, and always going the extra mile (literally) so we didn’t have to. He knew every street, every shortcut, every back road in Israel, and navigated them all like a pro. Safe, calm, and dependable, Maher helped make this trip comfortable, easy, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Another great tour experience!

We have used America Israel Tours twice to travel to Israel. Back in 2020 we started planning a third trip, this time with our family. We even placed a deposit down. Then COVID intervened, then a death in the family, then a new grandbaby, then Oct 7th in Israel. We shifted gears to going to Greece instead and Noam’s team took it all in stride with no issues. Even when we had to switch out family members with only 30 days to go, they flexed with us. The result was another great tour, including seeing many of the sites the Apostle Paul walked. What a great experience.
Will we use them again? Absolutely!

Experinece of a lifetime with American Isreal Tour .  From the start of the trip planning 5 years ago till the completion this past October 2025 was flawless. From Skyler, to Reagan, to the lady at airport and onto Yair, our tour guide and Mahar, our driver. Yair, was friendly and always had a smile,he was very knowledgable and explianed everything you could think of. The trip took on real significants with the boat ride on the see of Galiee. Was an incredible experince and the boat operators made us feel very welcomed. This area is where Jesus performed many miricales and walked on the water. The Dead Sea was incredible with the floating experince. Masada was incredible site by cable car and overwhelming.

With moving forward to Bethlehm where we visted the site of Jesus birthplace and manger was emotional. Yes, it is in Palestine control, however, very safe. Even the police took photo of the group as we were the first USA tourist. They were excited to have us come visit. The shop there has some beautiful pieces carved out of olive wood. Trying to keep it short, we went back into Isreal and seen The garden of Gesthesame from the top of the Mount of Olives. We walked the Via Delrosa which was emotional and we seen the crucifixtion area, tomb where Jesus was raised from and the slab that His body was laid on. We were able to sing in different spots togther and had communion. We did have some rededication baptism in the Jordan river.There is so much that we did that it would fill up a book. The places Yair, took us for lunch were clean and clean rest rooms. He even gave us different options of places to eat when he could. So, fear not, very safe in Isreal and we walked around with no fears at all. We were there two days prior aand one day after the tour and walked with no concern of problems. We highly recommend booking with American Isreal Tours. You will not be disappionted.

Unforgettable Experience of a Lifetime!

From start to finish, the Roots of our Faith tour was excellent. I would rate the tour experience itself 5-stars! The only reason I rated the experience lower was because of some rather confusing, vague information from the Travel Specialist about what to pack for men in regards to modest clothing, money to bring, and medications to be only in their original containers. However, our first point of contact from the Tour Operator was excellent. She was prompt and courteous in responding to questions and extremely helpful. If I could rate it a 4.8, I would :).
Our tour guide, Yair and driver Maher, were exceptional. The mini-bus we rode in around the Holy Land was comfortable and convenient. Our group felt completely safe and quickly developed a comradery with each other and our guide. Every day before beginning our journey, our guide invited us to voice a morning prayer. To visit the sites, accompanied with Bible-readings by our tour guide enriched our understanding and helped deepen our appreciation with real-life “visual aids” like the Sea of Galilee, coast of Caesarea Philippi, Garden Tomb, and so much more! We will never forget the time we had in the beautiful land of the Bible and the people of Israel. So blessed!! Well done, America Israel Tours!

Safe, secure and well educated.  Our guide made sure we were fully informed about our itinerary. The company made sure we safe and secure. At no point was I confused or concerned about where and what I should be doing. The tour brought us to a lot of well documented historical sites and I felt close to where Jesus likely walked.

Thank you to AIT for a great experience. From the moment we landed we were well taken care of. All the hotels were wonderful and the food exceptional. everyone enjoyed this trip so so much.
I absolutely appreciate Yoram’s interaction with everyone. He made our trip fun and we all connected so well with him. Our driver Mudi was the best! He had a very warm personality and was always available to help everyone wherever he could. He even helped serve food at one of the restaurants we stopped at for lunch. Our group loved this tour so much, saying goodbye to Yoram and Mudi was hard. Until Next year in Jerusalem!

I saw many biblical sights and it was great the guide read scripture at each one. The group of 12 became close friends. I had a favorite site each day, but the Galilee boat ride, Messada, & Via Dolorosa stood out.

Although we were saddened by the conflict in Israel that saw our tour canceled, American Israel Tours did not disappoint. Instead, we opted for their tour to Athens, Greece and the Greek Islands cruise.
Regan, our tour organizer surpassed all our expectations as we enjoyed a deeply fulfilling trip following the ministry of the Apostle Paul’s missions throughout Greece and Ephesus/Turkey. AIT delivered a seamless package from the choice of hotels, to the airport transfers, the internal taxis from city to port, the on land excursions, the local guides and personnel at the AIT Greece office.
Greece itself with its rich and glorious history, academia, art, philosophy, architecture, beautifully preserved ruins was indeed “food” for the most jaded soul!! Yes, “an unexamined life is not worth living”.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Greece with a side trip to Turkey. Grace Pointe Church family and friends loved Athens, Corinth, Thessaloniki, Berea, Philippi, and other Bible cities in upper Greece. Favorite of course was the 3 day Greek islands cruise aboard Celestial Discovery – Santorini, Mykonos, Patmos, Ephesus, and Crete! What breathtaking views and excursions! Fabulous Greek food, Greek restaurants and hotels, too! We want to make special mention of our tour guide Eric who blessed us in so many ways! Can’t wait for Israel 2025 with America Israel Tours next May!

The Roots of Faith Tour was spectacular! Lital, our tour guide, was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable on information pertaining to the history and sites we visited. Our group was small enough to get to know all fellow travelers which made the tour most enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour. 

Where do I start… From the airport pickup to last drop off at the end everything was perfect. It was so nice not to have worry about if our driver was gonna be there. They were so punctual and very polite. The hotels were top notch and the staff was welcoming. Our tour guide Lital was fantastic! She kept a group of 43 all together by herself and that’s not easy. She was entertaining and she completed the whole itinerary. We definitely will use AIT again on our next trip thank you! Oh and booking agent was awesome and always answered our questions. She never made us feel like there was a dumb question to be asked

Amazing trip of a lifetime! 

We did the Egypt/Jordan/Israel tour. All the places visited were simply amazing. The climb to Mount Sinai is one of the most challenging to do in the trip and we felt safe throughout the whole tour especially around Jerusalem. I would definitely recommend doing this tour 

Our Gide was very knowledgeable, answer all of our question, the Bible reading at every station was like if I was living it at the moment it happened.

WONDERFUL week in Israel! This was my first time in Isreal and to the Holy Land for 7 full days touring. The tour guide was Barak. He was EXCELLENT! The driver was Bennie. He was very friendly and knowledgeable too, sharing info about life in Jerusalem. 
Barak exceeded my expectations by far. He shared his VAST KNOWLEDGE of biblical history and gave great detail from the Christian perspective mainly, but also enlightened us on the Jewish and Muslim influence and position in Israel. 
We all felt SAFE as Barak guided us through sometimes very crowded spaces, remained patient, and timed our stops in a way that made sure we were not caught with the crowd and could enjoy the spots to the max and not be overwhelmed. 
He educated us about Israel as a country, the political challenges and how the average citizens are affected by the political landscape. This was bonus information! 
AIT did a great job at the back end (pre travel ) and organizing the tour- we had great hotel experiences. 
Overall, I recommend AIT and I hope you get to have Barak Berkovich as your guide and Bennie as your driver! 

Wonderful Experience, 3 countries in 2 weeks! 

I have to admit that I was a skeptic when it came to going on a tour with +40 people I didn’t know. But I’m so glad that we went. I’m sure our tour was covered in prayer – before and during the tour. About 3 days in we were no longer strangers but were becoming friends – laughing with each other and singing together (in the bus and on the Sea of Galilee) and supporting each other. Now we are friends on FB 🙂. There is a lot of walking on the tour, that is the only way to see everything in the allotted time and some things you’ll wish you had more time on and some things you’ll wish you had less time on – be sure to listen to the guides! – take notes regularly and lots of pictures. All of the guides are very professional – we had Osama in Egypt, Jay in Jordan, and Lital in Israel. In Jordan and Israel, Jay and Lital read or had someone read the bible verses that went with the sites we visited. Lital was especially great about asking what we thought about what the Bible said at each site and listened intently – it was great getting the different points of view. She was extremely knowledgeable about the sites and pointed out why a certain site was associated with the Bible, who made the claim and made know other views about the site to let us come to our own conclusions. Lital was cognizant of my wife’s knee injury (injured before the trip) and was compassionate with her helping her get a taxi back to the hotel when the knee gave out during one of the days and other days allowing her to skip one of the sites to rest the knee. That all being said, Lital was a jewel. And all of the bus drivers were skilled “craftsman” and very nice and courteous. A lady named Naomi came and stayed with the tour as we went through customs from Egypt to Israel to Jordan and stayed until we made it into the Israel leg of the tour – she was very nice and knowledgeable and professional and helped so much with the customs part. I highly recommend America Israel tours to anyone wanting to visit the Holy Land area – especially the Into the Promised Land tour.

The Roots of Your Faith tour was amazing. Tour guide – Barak and bus driver – Benny were professional and friendly. They developed and encouraged a sense of community and safety among our group. They continually reassured our group we were safe. The agenda was full and intense. The hotel accommodations and meals were excellent. Barak provided cultural perspectives from the Christian, Jewish and Muslim points of view. This gave me more clarity and Biblical insight. The wealth of information shared, on this tour, will continue to unfold in my pastoral role. As we walked where Jesus walked and opened the Scriptures my faith has increased. This is the third trip I have taken… 

This is the third trip I have taken that was booked through America Israel Tours and I have nothing but positive experiences. The tours have been phenomenal, the tour guides were exceptional, and the places we stayed were wonderful. They seem to think of everything and no stone is left unturned. I highly recommend America Israel Tours and plan to travel with them again in the future.

Lital was an amazing tour guide 

Lital was an amazing tour guide. I loved it. My Dad thought it was awesome! Lital explained the Biblical and Israel history of the different sites. We had time for pictures and discussions of the historical sites. We enjoyed local food that was delicious. Lital made sure that the group was together at all times. We felt safe and comfortable. 

It took me a long time to finally be able to make the trip to Israel. I knew that the experience would be life changing, and it was, but one of the highlights of my trip, was our tour guide, Barak Berkovich. The more he talked, the more he reflected his love for God and country. He really helped me understand the values of Jewish faith. He spoke with passion and conviction. Deep conviction to live what he believes. In many instances as he talked, I was convicted of how complacent us Americans are when it comes to reverencing the things of God. I imagine all tour guides do a good job at showing people the historical sites of the Bible, but I think one would be hard pressed to find a guide as passionate and dedicated as Barak. I’m grate full to have had the opportunity to learn from him and experience Israel through his eyes. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Worthy of a 5  

So much covered in so little time. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We heard other guides (other companies) making up history as they went. Bruce was informed and honest.
