Located at the southern tip of Israel, Eilat is a resort town lying on the Red Sea. Eilat is not only a popular vacation destination, it is an active port city as well.

Tourists abound all year long in Eilat, but the local population is only a little over 48,000 people. As part of the Negev Desert, Eilat has a dry climate and sunny skies year round. Never cold, Eilat’s coolest month is January where the average high temperature is 69.4 degrees Fahrenheit. The hottest month is July with an average high of 105.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
