Our rate for this tour is $725 per person and is based on double occupancy.  A $225 additional single supplement fee for single travelers in a private room.

Day 1
Day 1 - Wednesday

U.S. Departure to Turkey

FLY FROM THE U.S. TO TURKEY (NEVSEHIR KAPADOKYA AIRPORT)

  • Our journey begins today as we depart on our flight to Turkey.  Our destination is Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight while you prepare yourself for a life-changing experience.

Day 2
Day 2 - Thursday

Arrival in Cappadocia, Turkey

Arrive in Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport / Welcome to Cappadocia Region, Turkey

  • Upon arrival at Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our airport representative and driver. You’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in and relax for the day. Enjoy a leisurely evening as you begin to absorb the atmosphere of the magical region of Cappadocia.

Day 3 - Friday

Northern Cappadocia Full Day

FULL DAY TOUR IN CAPPADOCIA

  • After breakfast we will drive to Cappadocia and immerse ourselves in its timeless beauty as one of the world’s most unique landscapes.
  • We will start at the Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley). Walk through a surreal terrain filled with naturally formed rock shapes resembling animals and figures – a dream for photographers.
  • Then on to Pasabag (Monks Valley).  Here we will Marvel at the famous fairy chimneys and learn how early Christian monks lived in solitude within these stone towers. At Avanos Pottery Village, we will visit a family-run pottery workshop in this historic town along the Kızılırmak River.  
  • After lunch break we will visit  Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is monastic complex and Christian sanctuary of carved houses, churches and monasteries that tells the story of early Christian worship in Cappadocia. The museum was one of the earliest centres for religious education and there are at least ten churches and chapels in the complex, dating between AD 900 and 1200. Enter the cave chapels and witness the exquisite colour of the biblical frescoes found within.
  • We will visit the Uchisar Castle and climb this natural fortress for sweeping views of the region.We will end our day at the Pigeon Valley with a scenic stop to see ancient dovecotes carved into the cliffs. Return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 4 - Saturday

Balloon Ride and Souther Cappadocia / Connect with Churches Tour

  • This morning you have the option to take a hot air balloon flight, a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch on as the sun illuminates the skyline dotted with balloons. Even if you’d prefer not to take a flight, it’s still worth waking up for this truly incredible sight. 
  • We will start our day at the Underground City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu and descend into an ancient, multi-level refuge built by early Christians. Explore tunnels, chapels, kitchens, and storerooms hidden beneath the earth. At the Red Valley, we will take a peaceful walk through some of Cappadocia’s most colorful and scenic valleys. Along the way, visit hidden cave churches and learn about early monastic life.  
  • After lunch we will head to the historic village of Cavusin and explore the Church of St. John the Baptist – one of the oldest in Cappadocia. In the afternoon we will transfer back to the Nevşehir airport and fly to Izmir and continue our Church of the Revelation journey. Dinner at our hotel in Izmir.
