Our hotel in Tel Aviv is perfectly situated near the famous Tel Aviv beach, so you can relax and enjoy a full free day on the beach or visit some of the city's recommended historical sites. Evening Activity:

After the welcome dinner, we will meet our tour guide for an evening tour of Jaffa, the oldest port city in the world. Here you will see St. Peter's Church and enjoy a view of the Tel Aviv Shoreline from Jaffa’s Hilltop.

Day3Monday | From Tel Aviv to the Sea of Galilee

  • Enjoy a relaxing drive along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
  • Visit Caesarea Maritima, the center of early Christianity.
  • Stop at Mount Carmel (Muhraka), where Elijah challenged the false prophets.
  • See Tel Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon, the site where the Battle of Armageddon will be fought according to Revelation 16:16.
  • Visit Jesus' boyhood town of Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation, the traditional location of the angel Gabriel's appearance to Mary.
  • Take in a view of Nazareth from Mt. Precipice, where it is believed to have been the site of the rejection of Jesus.
  • Drive by Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine at a wedding feast.
  • Our drive will end at our hotel on the Sea of Galilee in Tiberias.

Day4Tuesday | Discover the Sea of Galilee, Upper Galilee & Golan Heights
Sail on the Sea of Galilee / Jesus Boat / Golan Heights / Upper Galilee / Caesarea Philippi
  • Board a wooden boat and sail on the Sea of Galilee before visiting the "Ancient Jesus Boat" - the remains of a 2,000 year old fishing boat that would have been the type used by Jesus' apostles.
  • Visit Magdala, best known as the home of Mary Magdalene. Walk through the ruins of a first century Jewish town where a synagogue from the time of Christ's ministry was found.
  • Visit the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount of Matthew 5:8.
  • Drive up to the beautiful Golan Heights.
  • Visit the Banias Spring in ancient Caesaria Philippi.
  • See Tagbha, where Jesus fed the 5,000 with only five loaves of bread and 2 fish. Here you will visit the Church of Multiplication and enjoy its remarkable 4th century Byzantine mosaic floor.
  • End the day by visiting the 2,000 year old remains at Capernaum and stand in the synagogue remains, where Jesus ministered.

Day5Wednesday | Jesus' Early Ministry at the Sea of Galilee & Jordan River

  • Visit the baptismal site of Yardenit. The site on the River Jordan, where it is believed that the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist took place. For those who would like to be baptized today, a white robe can be obtained for $10 per person.
  • Enjoy travelling in the Beit She'an Valley and visit the archaeological site of Beit Shean, which is now protected as an Israeli National Park.
  • Drive through the Jordanian Valley
  • Relax and float in the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth.

Day6Thursday | Exploring the Dead Sea, the Judean Desert and Jerusalem
Dead Sea / Masada / Ein Gedi / Qumran / Jerusalem / Mount of Olives / Garden of Gethsemane / St. Peter of Galicantu
  • Climb by cable car to the mountaintop stronghold of Masada and explore the ancient sites while learning about the Jewish rebellion against the Romans.
  • Enjoy a view of the oasis of Ein Gedi where David wrote many of his Psalms as he hid from Saul.
  • Visit the ancient Essene Community of Qumran where the ancient biblical texts known as the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947.
  • Stand on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem and reflect on the Lord's ascension into heaven.
  • Pass by Pater Noster Church and visit Dominus Flevit.
  • Take the Palm Sunday Road and visit the Garden of Gethsemane.
  • End the day with a visit to St. Peter of Galicantu commemorating Christ's prophesy that Peter would deny him three times before the cock crows. Galli-cantu means cockcrow in Latin.

Day7Friday | The Stones of Your Heritage Temple Mount in Jesus times
Southern Wall / Southern Steps / Davidson Center / Western Wall / Jewish Quarter / Mt. Zion / Upper Room / Tomb of King David / Bethlehem / Church of the Nativity / Garden Tomb
  • Explore the Old City of Jerusalem via the Dung Gate.
  • Visit the Western Wall and surrounding Plaza in the Jewish quarter, including Robinson's Arch.
  • Visit The Davidson Center Museum and the Southern Temple Mount archaeological excavations.
  • Visit Bethlehem, where you will visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd's Field.

* Please be advised that Bethlehem is administered by the Palestinian Authority and it is not part of the State of Israel, therefore a passport is required to enter Bethlehem. Due to an increase in tourists visiting the region, please expect long lines to visit the Grotto. If you wish not to visit Bethlehem and remain in Jerusalem during that time, please advise your tour guide at least 1 day in advance.
Day8Saturday | City of Zion – Past, Present and Future
Jerusalem Old City: Lions' Gate / Via Dolorosa / St. Anne Church / Pool of Bethesda / Judgment Hall of Pilate / Church of the Holy Sepulcher / Christian Quarter / Knesset / Shepherd's Field
  • Enter the Christian Quarter of the Old City via the Lion's Gate and walk along the Via Dolorosa, also known as the Stations of the Cross, which is the route that Jesus walked from the prison to the crucifixion.
  • Along the way you will visit:
    • The Judgment Hall of Pilate.
    • St. Anne's Church and the Pool of Bethesda.
    • Take time for reflection at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
  • Walk through the historic Christian & Jewish quarters of the Old City. Take a break and shop at the bazaars.
  • Visit Mt. Zion, where the Tomb of King David and the Upper Room of the Last Supper are located.
  • Celebrate the resurrection with prayer and communion at the Garden Tomb.
  • Meet together to say goodbye at our conclusion meeting and farewell dinner!

Day9Sunday | Rome Arrival
Welcome to Rome
  • Gather your luggage for our departure transfer back to the airport.
  • We welcome you to Rome, one of the most beautiful cities in the world surrounded with Roman art and architecture and the capital of Italy!
  • Our representative will meet you with you at the airport and will assist you in your transfer to the hotel.

Day10Monday | From Vatican City to the Colosseum and Roman Forum
Vatican City / Sistine Chapel / St. Peter’s Basilica / Colosseum and Roman Forum / Palatine Hill
  • After we enjoy breakfast, we will start our tour by visiting the Vatican Museums, the 6th most visited art museum in the world with a collection built up by Popes throughout the centuries. You will see famous paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Caravaggio.
  • Next we will visit the famous Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope where you will see Michelangelo’s famous Sistine ceiling painting which depicts a scene from Genesis.
  • We will now visit St. Peter’s Basilica, believed to be the burial site of St. Peter, one of Christ’s Apostles and considered the first Pope.
  • We will walk to St. Peter’s Square, the picture perfect site well known for the Papal Masses.
  • We will enjoy free time for lunch.
  • In the afternoon we will walk to the Palatine Hill and tour one of the most iconic sites in Rome, the Colosseum. The massive amphitheater built in 70-72 A.D. by Emperor Vespasian and opened by his son Titus, is known for Its gladiator battles.
  • Next, the Roman Forum; a massive plaza surrounded by ruins of ancient government buildings, it was for centuries the center of Roman public life.
  • We will walk through Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, an ancient Roman shrine dedicated to the virgin goddess of the hearth.
  • Visit the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, built around 141 A.D. by the Emperor Antoninus Pius.
  • Next we will visit the Basilica Julia and Aemilia, which will give us a better perspective of the glorious past of the Roman Empire.
  • We will end the tour in the center of the center and return to the hotel.

Day11Tuesday | Free time
Free morning / Basilicas / Ancient Appian Way / Catacombs of St. Callixtus (Available from April to October only)
  • After breakfast, we has a morning to enjoy shopping and visit sites not included in the itinerary.
  • After lunch, we will start our tour in the afternoon by visiting the Basilicas of St. John in Lateran, the Cathedral and St. Mary Major.
  • Next we will Catacombs of St. Callixtus (Available from April to October only), mostly known for containing once the tombs of 50 martyrs and 9 popes from the 2nd and 4th centuries.

The Catacombs of St. Callixtus are only available from April to October. You may substitute (November to March) the catacombs with our "Pompeii and its Ruins" tour for an additional $85 or you may receive a $100 credit if you decide to explore the city on your own during your free day.

The Pompeii tour includes: The first stop is Naples, one of the most enchanting cities in the Mediterranean, famous worldwide for its rich history, art, culture and gastronomy, where you will take a short panoramic tour to discover its beauty from the comfort of your coach climbing up the Vomero hill. The town overlooks the bay of Naples which extends from the Sorrento peninsula to vulcanic area of Phlegrean fields, and the skyline is dominated by the majestic and still active volcano Vesuvius, offering an impressive sight perfect to take stunning pictures. Descending towards the port of Mergellina, you will leave the city and travel south toward Mount Vesuvius, to reach the town of Ercolano where we will stop for lunch. The restaurant is in a first class hotel in Herculaneum, situated in a marvelous environment and surrounded by wonderful gardens dating back to 1700. Then head to Pompeii and skip the line to one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Through the remains and ruins of this ancient city, you will learn how the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD destroyed the city, killing its inhabitants and burying it under tons of ash. The site was lost for about 1,500 years until its initial rediscovery and the objects beneath the city have been well-preserved for centuries. So you can walk along the ancient streets for a glimpse into the lives of the Romans, discovering ancient houses, bakeries and shops and imagine the everyday life in the Roman times. At the end of the visit we will return to the coach for our trip back to Rome. Lunch and dinner free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day12Wednesday | Rome Departure / Arrival to the United States
  • Transfer to Rome International Airport for your departure flight. Today you will arrive back and start planning your next trip!
