Entry and Departure to/from Israel (Updated October 10, 2022)

As of May 21st (the midnight between May 20th and May 21st, Israel Time) – Covid testing is no longer required for anyone traveling to Israel.

It will not be required to present a negative result of a COVID test before boarding a flight to Israel or a cruise to Israel or before arriving at an Israeli land border crossing.
The PCR testing mandate for those entering Israel at airports and maritime and land border crossings will be lifted.
As of October 9, 2022 – travelers are no longer required to complete the Online Entry Statement. In addition, as of May 23rd, the mask mandate for international flights to/from Israel will be lifted.

We advise all passengers to check the latest travel regulations on the Israel Ministry of Health Website and the Ministry of Health’s website: https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-foreign-nationals/
before traveling to Israel. We also advise all passengers to check with their airline(s) to see if any additional Covid boarding/travel protocols will be enforced for your flight(s).

Covid testing before leaving Israel travelling back to the United States is no longer required.

As of June 12, 2022, it is no longer required to present a negative PCR or Antigen test when departing Israel to the U.S. If you are travelling to a country OTHER than the U.S., please confirm what test, if any, you will be required to present to travel to that Country. The type of testing (PCR or Antigen) is determined by the policy of your destination country. Arranging the proper Covid testing is the responsibility of the traveler. America Israel Travel will provide our travelers with guidance of the closest approved facility that provides pre-flight testing. In the case of a tourist testing positive for Covid, the individual will be required to self-isolate in a Covid hotel for 5 nights.
