The amazing food, vibrant culture, as well as fascinating historical and biblical sites are what make tourists flock to the Holy Land during the summer months. But did you know that Israel can also be a great vacation destination for relaxing and soaking up sun? Since Israel is blessed with three seas, travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy many beaches, each with its own unique character. Our team at America Israel Tours has compiled a list of the top beaches just in case you are looking for a rejuvenating beach day!

Caesarea Beach

Caesarea Beach

The beach in Caesarea (also known as Aqueduct Beach) is located 50km north of Tel Aviv, north of the ruins of ancient Roman aqueducts built 1000 years ago by King Herod. The beach has shower facilities; however, it does not have bathrooms. It is also monitored by lifeguards who will not allow you to wonder off too far into the waters. Make sure you choose a day when the wind is calm, since the waves can sometimes get a bit rough. The beauty of the place, the extremely blue waters, and the Roman ruins in the background makes it the ideal spot for a beach selfie! Photo by: Kat Sniffen
