Haifa & The Coastline Travel Guide

Located on the slopes of Mount Carmel in northern Israel on the Mediterranean Sea. Haifa is a major seaport and is Israel’s third largest city, with over 270,000 people.

It is well known for its gorgeous Baha’i Gardens and is a pilgrimage destination for followers of the Baha’i faith. Like most of the northern half of Israel, Haifa has a mild Mediterranean climate with summers that are hot and winters that are cool and rainy. There tends to be high humidity year round and an average of 25 inches of precipitation is expected annually. July is Haifa’s warmest month with an average temperature of 89.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
